48 Hours Of Fashion In Nottingham

Sunday 15 March 2015

Hi Bunnies.
On Friday 13th March i went to a local event called "48 hours of fashion" which is held in Nottingham city centre. It's completely free to go and i personally feel that it gets better every single year.
I found out about the event through Facebook and if you clicked on "attending" then you will receive a goodie bag.

I love freebies.

This is my goodie bag pictured below. It's a intu Broadmarsh and intu Victoria centre cotton tote bag with "Eat, Sleep, Shop, Repeat!" design on the front.
Inside was a Thorntons Alpini chocolate bar. Yum!
also inside was a "It's in Nottingham" guide which said the times for various cat walk shows and beauty demonstrations through out the two days which the event is on for.
 Monthly Fashion magazine

and finally a Versace perfume sample.
I watched a live demonstration in Victoria centre by GHD's which showed how to get tousled curls which is going to be a popular look this spring and summer.
Followed by a cat walk show by a fashion label called "Roman"
Then it was time for the main fashion show in the market square. Performances were every hour followed by a live demonstration from beauty or fashion company. The catwalk show lasted around 20 minutes.

I was lucky enough to get a seat right at the front.

Here are a few photographs of the show :-
I had another goodie bag waiting for me on my seat in the catwalk show. This was a blue shopping tote bag which had the "the exchange" printed on the front. The shopping bag contained leaflets about the fashion show and where to buy all of the clothes from. I really liked how all of the clothes were based on Nottingham events and attractions such as Splendour festival, Nottingham Rivera and Wollaton Hall.
I hope that you enjoyed my blog post. If you went to the 48 hours of fashion then why not leave me a comment below.

Bunny Hugs,

Hayley
