Afternoon Tea At King Arthur At Lakeside, Nottingham

Saturday 4 June 2016

Hi Bunnies:)
I visited King Arthur at Lakeside which is in Arnold, Nottingham for afternoon tea.
Afternoon tea is a British tradition consisting of dainty sandwiches, scones served with cream and preserves and cakes.
One of my favourite TV shows is Little Britain and in the show they have two male characters called Florence and Emily who dress up as women and pretend to be ladies. They perform stereotypical female activities to try and be more feminine. I love to quote the characters especially when i am out and about doing "lady" activities. Even though the TV show Little Britain ended in 2007 it still makes me laugh to this day.
Me and my friend Barbie caught the Pronto bus from Victoria bus station (£3.30 return ticket). The journey was around 20 mins long. The bus stop is close to the King Arthur, Lakeside which is easy to walk to and find.
I enjoyed the afternoon tea and it was very tasty (especially the alcoholic mousse hehe). My favourite part was the huge lake and all of the beautiful Japanese fish. I love water as i find it very calming.
I would recommend to go and visit as it's a beautiful place. The best time to go would be in the spring and summer months.
Let me know in the comments below if you have been or any places which you would recommend to visit. :)

Enjoy!
