May Favourites

Monday 21 May 2018

Hi everyone.
In today's post I'm here to share with you my May Favourites. All beauty items are cruelty free.
Barry M All Night Long Concealer In The Shade "Milk"
Ever since I was a teenager Barry M have been one of my favourite cruelty free budget friendly beauty brands. I think that Barry M have released some wonderful products in the past. I am looking forward to trying new products from them in 2018. The Holographic Eyeshadow Toppers and the Under The Sea nail paints are my personal favourites so far. Click here to be directed to their website to take a look.
Barry M recently expanded their shades of concealers and foundations which I think is good because I struggle finding the right colour match for my porcelain skin tone. I recently brought the All Night Long Full Coverage Concealer in the shade "Milk" which is the lightest shade. The colour is a perfect match. For £4.50 I think it's a bargain.
After I've finished using my GOSH X-Ceptional Wear Foundation I would like to try and test the Barry M Foundation Stick. Let me know in the comments if you would like this review in the near future.
Barry M Under The Sea Nail Paint In The Shade "Angel Fish"
Along with the All Night Concealer I brought Under The Sea Nail Paint in the shade Angel Fish" because currently in Boots there is a special offer on. If you buy 1 Barry M product then you got one for half price. I brought both items for a total of £6.50 rather than the full price of £8.50.
"Angel Fish" is a beautiful holographic baby pink shade. I love the packaging because of the blue metallic sea creatures on the lid. I'm a big fan of anything under the sea or mermaid related so this range of polishes are perfect for me. I think Barry M nail paints are the best nail polishes available on the high street as they have a wide range of colours, long lasting and don't chip.
I had an unexpected parcel from Ahmad Tea who kindly gifted me some teas to try (thank you). If you have been reading my blog for along time then you will know that I'm a huge tea lover.  In the past I have reviewed Adagio teas and also visited the opening of BlueBirdTea Co store in Nottingham last year. My favourite kinds of tea are english breakfast, green, matcha and fruit.
Ahmad Tea Peach & Passionfruit Cold Brew Iced Tea
The first Ahmad tea that I tried was the Peach & Passionfruit Cold Brew Iced Tea which tastes delicious. There is nothing better in the summer time than sitting outside in the garden watching my rabbit hop about in garden whilst drinking a fruity iced tea.
Ahmad Tea Dessert Green Tea Strawberry And Basil
The second tea which I love is Strawberry and Basil Coulis dessert green tea. I didn't know that green tea could taste like a dessert. It tastes fresh and sweet.
Those were my May favourites. Let me know in the comments below if you've tried any of these products before.

April Update

Friday 4 May 2018

Hi everyone!
What a jam packed month April has been. I wanted to catch up with you with what i've been up too. My main focus has been on improving my YouTube channel by mixing up the content, thumbnails and editing. I feel proud of the 5 videos that I've uploaded this month and I want to keep going.
Let's start with the beginning of the month (on the 3rd April) I uploaded a Rabbit homeware and lifestyle haul video. I'm called BunnyMoonstone for a reason and that's because I love fluffy rabbits. I'm obsessed with bunny shaped items and prints on fabrics or clothes.
I searched YouTube for rabbit items hauls to see if one existed and unfortunately it doesn't so I decided to make my own.
If you find any items such as make up products, Jewellery, homeware or fashion then please tweet at me @Bunnymoonstone
On the 20th April 2018  I visited Wollaton Hall and deer parkI've added the vlog to my new Places To Visit In Nottingham video playlist.
I enjoyed exploring the natural history museum and reminiscing about when I used to visit as apart of my life drawing classes as it was a requirement of my art course.  Although I did object to drawing dead animals (i prefer real  ones).
23th April 2018 I watched Dan and Phil's gaming video playing "What Would You Do If?" and I was inspired to have a go myself. I love mental stimulation and thinking about different situations.
I often wonder what would happen if aliens would take over the earth or what I'd do if I was in a zombie apocalypse. Do you enjoy playing games? Let me know in the comments below and I will make a part 2 sometime in the future.
A few weeks ago I heard the devastating news that one of my favourite TV presenters Dale Winton had passed away. He presented two of my favourite shows which were Pets Win Prizes and Supermarket Sweep. He also guest starred in "Gimme Gimme Gimme" which is another TV show which I loved.
I wanted to share a cherished memory which I had of Dale Winton in a story time which involves my childhood dream of seeing Supermarket Sweep live with my beloved grandma.
At the end of the month SWATCH invited me to have a look at their new VIBE collection. A small group of east midland bloggers were invited to a neon light workshop with Neon Workshops. We were taught a brief history all about neon lights and learnt the process of how they are made.
It was fascinating to learn the steps of how a neon light is made and I will never take for granted one again. I had a go at cutting, blowing and shaping glass. My design is going to be turned into a light so keep your eyes peeled on my Twitter when I upload a photograph of my design.

The SWATCH Vibe Collection

Thursday 3 May 2018

On April 25th I was invited by SWATCH to have a look at their 2018 new spring/summer collection called the VIBE collection. The VIBE collection is a mixture of athletic retro styles and bright neon colours which will add a pop of colour to your wrist and uplift your everyday style.
SWATCH invited a small group of East Midland bloggers to a neon light workshop at One Thoresby Street in Nottingham to celebrate the collection.
Neon Workshops taught bloggers about the brief history of neon lights and also the process of how they are made. It was fascinating to learn each process I had a go at cutting, blowing and moulding glass into a simple shape. My design is going to be turned into a light so keep your eyes peeled on my Twitter when I upload a photograph of my design. .
The Swatch Vibe is available online click here to view the collection. The Nottingham Swatch store is located in Intu Victoria Centre
Check out my video below of the event.
